The “Personality Development” series by Academician M. Yu. Mianiy consists of long-term educational programs titled “Personality Development Courses” (KFL) and is designed to foster the development of a strong, perfect, happy, dignified, and successful individual.

Strong — capable of setting and achieving worthy goals through worthy means.
Perfect, Worthy — conforming to the Standards of the Worthy.
Successful — in everything: Self-actualization, Relationships, Lifestyle, etc.

The Main Challenges Facing Contemporary Society and Education as a Whole in Terms of Personality Development:

At present, neither in the CIS countries, nor in the EU, nor in the vast majority of other countries is there any deliberate effort to shape the individual as a person!
Existing classes and workshops Personal growth classes and workshops address specific issues but do not solve the problem of overall personality development!
Personality Development is not a priority in science, government, or society (funding for it is virtually nonexistent).

KFL. General Approach (which is in line with the best traditions of character development throughout history):

A clear definition of moral standards (what is proper and what is improper).
Comprehensive Personality Development (covering all internal components—from beliefs to outward expressions).
Preparation for life in all key areas (service, self-fulfillment, relationships, etc.).
Taking into account all factors that influence personality development (rules, relationships within development groups, traditions, etc.).

Key Differences in the System’s Approach

The foundation is scientific, not religious, as it used to be.
It is usually the change in an adult, rather than the way they were raised as a child.
The core audience is not the aristocracy, but a much broader group: people with higher education and college students.
