Semester 1. “Personality Development” from the “Standard Coaching” series—presented as a structured set of lectures by Prof. M. Yu. Mianiye from the first semester of the author’s course “Standard Coaching.”
The goal of this semester’s course – to introduce students to the philosophy of personality development (what is worth believing in, what is worth living for, what goals a person should strive to achieve with dignity in this world, how to achieve success, how to build relationships, etc.), the theoretical foundations (the structure and mechanisms of consciousness, the structure of the personality—beliefs, self-esteem, etc.) and practical methods (reprogramming techniques, etc.) for personal development (overcoming problems and cultivating strengths), to help build the framework of personality necessary for success and for one’s overall life path, and, specifically, in the professional development of a coach (understanding the root causes of a person’s internal and external problems, helping others resolve various issues based on personal experience of changing oneself for the better).
The information presented in this semester’s classes provides a comprehensive and complete understanding of the process of personal growth, the fundamental principles and conditions for developing a successful and self-sufficient personality, and to understand and apply in practice the relevant requirements for a coach—as a professional capable of working effectively with clients’ beliefs, personal qualities, and personality structure—by drawing on the theoretical knowledge, methodologies, and practical frameworks presented here.
